Job Description

We're seeking a Managing Attorney (Regional) to oversee West Coast litigation operations and lead a high-performing team supporting complex matters across California and beyond. This is a non-billable leadership role ideal for an experienced litigation attorney who enjoys operational excellence, team development, and serving as a trusted advisor to attorneys.

Location: Downtown Los Angeles (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote)
Compensation: $183,745 - $229,682

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of legal operations professionals,
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on litigation procedure, court rules, filing requirements, and docket management
  • Partner closely with attorneys to provide procedural guidance and operational support
  • Drive performance management, coaching, mentoring, and staff development
  • Support matters across California and other jurisdictions as needed

What We're Looking For

  • J.D. and active California Bar membership in good standing
  • 7+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of court systems, procedural rules, filings, docketing, and calendaring
  • Prior leadership or people-management experience preferred
  • Relationship-builder with outstanding communication and organizational skills
